Our office is conveniently located in Lake Placid, New York. We are just one hour from Plattsburgh, two hours from Albany, three hours from Utica and Watertown, four hours from Syracuse and five hours from Manhattan and Rochester. New York City and New Jersey Montreal Ottawa Toronto Boston, Springfield, Hartford Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse Adirondack Regional Airport (SLK) From New York City and New Jersey Take the NY State Thruway (I-87) north to the Adirondack Northway heading towards Montreal. (Exit 24 in Albany). Follow 87 North to Exit 30. Take a left off of the off-ramp onto Rt. 9 North and follow it for two miles to Rt. 73. Continue on 73 for 26 miles to Lake Placid area. Turn left at the traffic light onto Main Street (which is also Rt. 86). Continue to the intersection of Main Street and Saranac Avenue. ( The Hilton Hotel is on the left) Turn left on to Saranac Avenue and continue one mile to the next traffic light. Turn right into the Cold Brook Plaza and continue straight past the Adirondack Bank. Drive Time: From NYC: 5 hrs From Albany: 2 1/2 hrs. top From Montreal Take Route 15 South to the Champlain Crossing, connect with I-87 South at the boarder. Take Exit 34 West, following Route 9N. Then follow Route 86 to the Whiteface Mountain/Lake Placid area. Continue straight through the traffic light. Continue to the intersection of Main Street and Saranac Avenue. ( The Hilton Hotel is on the left) Turn left on to Saranac Avenue and continue one mile to the next traffic light. Turn right into the Cold Brook Plaza and continue straight past the Adirondack Bank. Follow Route 30 South to Paul Smiths College. Follow Route 86 to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. As you enter Lake Placid, there is a traffic light. Drive time: 3 hours. top From Toronto Take 401 East to the Cornwall Bridge. Pick up Route 37 East to Malone. Follow Route 30 South to Paul Smiths College. Follow Route 86 to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. As you enter Lake Placid, there is a traffic light. Turn left into the Cold Brook Plaza and continue straight past the Adirondack Bank. Pick up I-787 North to Cohoes. Connect with Route 7 West. Then get on I-87 North. Follow I-87 (the Northway) to Exit 30. Follow final directions above: "From New York City..." Drive time: Boston: 5 hours. top From Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse Take I-90 (NY State Thruway) East to Exit 36 (Syracuse). Pick up I-81 North and follow it to Watertown. Follow Route 3 East to Saranac Lake. Then get on Route 86 East to Lake Placid.As you enter Lake Placid, there is a traffic light. Daily commuter service to and from CommutAir's Albany, New York hub operate daily to connect travelers with major airline service. There are also direct flights to and from the Boston Area. At the flashing light take a right heading towards Saranac Lake. Then get on Route 86 East to Lake Placid. As you enter Lake Placid, there is a traffic light.
